#Capgemini_Placement_Pattern_Bangalore
**************************************
Hi Everyone,

I am here to share my experience in recruitment drive of Capgemini which is conducted by one Java institution Bangalore, Nearly 600 to 700 students were eligible to give an Aptitude Test. (criteria 60 throughout, no gap in education).

Selection process:

1) Aptitude (by CoCubes).

2) Versant Test.

3) Technical+HR interview.

Whole selection process takes 20 days. Personally I felt that Quant was difficult, verbal and reasoning was moderate. One who solve R. S. Aggarwal and thorough with the formulas can able to crack it.

First round was aptitude,

Quants: Profit and loss, Percentage, Time &work, Ages, Ratio and proportion, Number system, Trains.

Verbal and Reasoning

Sentence correction, Re-arranging, Synonyms and Antonyms, Articles and prepositions, Analogy, Series, Blood Relations, Coding-Decoding, Comprehension, Statement - Conclusions, Directions Sense set.

They gave an Aptitude results after 4 days (during deepawali :))

Second Round was Versant Test (Telephonic), usually Versant test will be in US accent. They called us Capgemini Office. We were not aware of Versant test because they didn't inform us.

It has 3 sections.

1) Sentence Repeat (It says some sentence we should repeat it correctly without adding and missing the word).

In this they will ask 5 to 6 sentences as we proceed, difficulty level increases means length of the sentence will be increase.

2) One word answer, here they will ask some questions we should answer in one word.
ex, Would a get a water from a bottle or a newspaper
Ans: should be like "from a bottle"

3) Sentence Re-arrangement.
They asks a sentence to arrange grammatically correct.

Note: In this round if you didn't hear properly don't blank tell something what you heard and your voice should be loud enough.

After 2 weeks they gave the results to those who cleared versant.

Third Round was Technical+HR(TE+HR)

TE+HR: Tell me about yourself.
Me: Told.

TE+HR: Explain me the project.
Me: Explained.

TE+HR: Then they asked questions on core Java.
Me: Answered most of all except few.

TE+HR: Some Hr related questions.
Me: Answered.

Then they told, you can leave for the day we will mail you the results.

After 2 days I got the mail, you cleared and please send all scanned copy of marks card with employee form and  background verification form. Next day they sent a mail "Due to Education Gap" we couldn't offer you.

So guys please don't try to attend Capgemini if you have any gaps in education, that is company policy if you clear all rounds and if they did even background verification also they may reject you.

ALL THE BEST

Placement Papers :: Capgemini
Hi guys, it all started with an apti round in Nov, 2014 conducted by CoCubes in Kolkata, results were declared after a month, then it was followed by another apti round which reduced the no. of candidates significantly.

After two apti rounds we were asked to come Hyderabad for GD round, and if got selected then for tech+Hr round.

GD Round: (30-40 minutes).

Topic was: Why is India lagging behind China.

It was not actually a GD we were all given 5 minutes to speak on this topic, one by one. I was the 3rd person to speak, I did well. After this we were asked to debate on the same topic.

Technical + HR: 20 minutes

Interviewer was very friendly, I was nervous a bit tensed but I tried my best to remain calm and confident.

He asked me to seat and then to introduce myself. I did. He went through in details regarding my hobbies and personal attitude written in CV. Technical portion was not that tough it was good, I will not say easy but it was also not that tough. Questions will be asked from the subjects you mentioned in CV. HR questions were to check whether you can work under pressure or not to see the homework's you have done before attending the interview, asked me what do I know about Capgemini.

I did one or two mistakes while answering in technical questions, but never lost my confidence and kept smiling.

It all ended well, got selected , now going to join it very soon !!!!

All the best to you guys, keep rocking :)

There were 3 rounds: Aptitude Test, Group Discussion, Interview.

There was a pre-placement talk for about 2 hours.

After that, the test began.

There were 151 students for the test.

The test had 75 questions and 1.5 hours duration.

69 were shortlisted.

Our GD topic was “Is HARTHAL a nice way to protest?”.

52 were shortlisted for the interview. End of the day, 33 got placed in Capgemini. I'm so happy to say that, now I'm a member of the Capgemini family. :)

The test was online. It was a bit tough for me.

In GD, try to initiate the GD. Plus, try to speak out through out the session. Also make others speak. Don't wait for your chance to come. No one is gonna give you a chance. You have to find it yourself. Please don't keep quiet. Speak out, atleast once. Also, take initiative in concluding the GD.

The following are the questions asked to me by the interviewer:

1. What did you feel when you heard that Capgemini is coming to your campus?

2. If you are given a chance to ask something to us, what would you ask?

3. You have no problem with your job location ?

15. Why mercury is used in thermometer?

16. Can thermometer be used to measure room temperature?

17. What is used to measure room temperature?

18. Are you basically from Trivandrum?

I think I'm done. Be yourself, while you are in an interview. Don't sit quiet.

Tell something when the interviewer asks you anything.

When question like 12 comes, tell whatever coming to your brain. Please, please, don't keep quiet. Don't give up. Atleast make an attempt. The same with questions 13 through 17. When it comes to Technical part, don't try to fool them. Try to avoid telling 'I don't know.' Simply, sit cool. Look into the eyes of the interviewer. If you know something related to what they have asked and if you are pretty sure that it is 100% correct, tell that point. Don't act over smart. Be polite, when you answer. Don't act politeness. Keep smiling always.

Arhaan Hashmi
