WRITTEN TEST

Aptitude Test : 90 Minutes
Quantitative : 20 Minutes
Reasoning / Analytical : 20 Minutes
Technical : 50 Minutes

In technical section, we were given three options :

• c (or)
• c++ (or)
•  java
•  SUGGESTIONS TO JUNIORS
  Be well versed with the general UNIX commands and SQL queries along with C/C++/Java.
  In HR they just want to see your confidence and fluency while you answer their questions.
   Interview Experience:

Hello everyone, I attended AMDOCS technical interview, and here is my experience.

I was told that my technical interview will start at 1 pm but my interview actually started at 5:30 pm so be prepared for a long tiring day. My interview lasted for 1 hour approx.

First thing they will ask is to introduce yourself. While you introduce yourself they will quickly scan your resume for something that they find interesting.

In my resume, I had specified that I have leadership skills, so they game a scenario - I am the manager of the company and your junior engineering is not performing well, so how will I handle the situation. Then after that I was asked to speak on C++ for as long as I can and they stopped in between and asked what is the use of operator overloading in C++.

The difference between overloading and overriding. What are access specifiers and a program for the same. Then what is inheritance. Then they asked me to rate myself on a scale of 10 in C++. They asked me typical water jug problem in a simple manner.

Then they asked sql queries joins and normalization. Then they asked to write some unix commands and they fired some heavy unix questions on to me and then at last it was the standard why do you want to join amdocs question.
