Job Description:

The role will perform account level catastrophe modeling and operate within the Modelling and Analytics Group of the India CoE. She/he will report into a Team Lead or Technical Lead Cat Modeling.

Key responsibilities:

Providing catastrophe modelling and analytical support to Regional Catastrophe Management and Corporate teams.
Cleansing of data provided by underwriters for property and energy exposures, carrying out Data Quality Improvement (DQI) and converting the data into model-ready format.
Reading slips/policy options and coding them in Global Exposure Solutions (GES) software.
Modelling exposures for all perils through GES using at least one catastrophe model: AIR/RMS
Sharing loss output with underwriters and regional teams after necessary QA process.

Job Requirements:

A degree holder with minimum 60% marks in Engineering and minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10th, 12th. No backlogs
A Maths/Statistics/Science/Accounts/Finance degree holder with minimum 55% marks and minimum 60% aggregate marks in 10th, 12th. No backlogs
Good computer skills with proficiency in MS Excel including Pivot Table analyses will be an added advantage.
Must have good research experience and skills, including use of Internet based resources.
Candidate must be organized, self-motivated and willing to learn more about the basics of catastrophe modelling and insurance.
Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills are required.
