About the Company: one of the major Customs Brokerage companies in Canada, we are also present in the United States. We are looking for a developer to join our team on a project to develop a new Customs Brokerage system for our US operations. Our development team in this project is distributed in two locations, Bangalore (IN) and Montreal (CA). All our users are located in different regions in the United States. In this position the developer will work on a web development environment, using Scrum framework. We have a team of smart, fun software developers, with a mission to make a difference

We have the following vacancy and the details are given below.

Web Developer

Job o Regular working hours 3:00 pm to 12:00 am IST
o Participate in full measure within the team in the planning of sprints, in their execution and in their delivery.
o Design, refine, develop, test and maintain the software using Agile methodology;
o Analyze and troubleshoot code, correct errors as required;
o Write highly maintainable code that scales and interfaces well with other systems;
o Collaborate with project team in the execution of projects to achieve quality customer experiences;
o Ensure product quality;
o Ensure the highest level of usability, desirability, and customer satisfaction;
o Develop unit, functional, regression, and integration test suite;
o Participate in improving tools for development
o Work with the Product Owner to improve the user stories and propose solutions to bring value to the business
o Work actively on the product emerging design
o Keep your job transparent for the rest of the team
o Help the team to solve problems.
o Interact with team members, even if they are in different time zones
* Qualifications
o Bachelor degree in Computer Science or related
o 2 to 5 years' experience with web development

* Must Have Skills
o C#, ASP.NET, Visual Studio, JavaScript, Entity Framework, AJAX, JSON, JQuery, Knouckout, CSS, HTML, SQL.
o Knowledge of OOP
o Experience in web development
o Experience in MCV and MVVM
o Experience in writing Unit Tests
o Team player and ability to work individually
o Strong verbal and written communication in English
o Excellent analytic and problem solving Skills
o Ability to clear requirements with users.
o Good judgment, flexible, a positive attitude, self-motivated, able to react effectively to change.
o Committed to Constantly improve own work methods to gain state-of-the-art agile software engineering skills
o Enhance skills beyond own core functional focus and work on other tasks for the benefit of the team
o Proactive attitude
o Fast Learner

* Nice To have
o CSD (Certified Scrum Developer) or related certification on agile development
o Experience in Scrum
o TDD (Test Driven Development)
o TFS (Team foundation server)
o NUnit
o Selenium Webdriver
o Customs Brokerage business knowledge
